YEEE haw...great news...

Well I just got a call from Chad, okay so yea, it was like 2 hours ago, but this is my first chance to sit and write - LOL! anyhow, he said "our tax return was deposited" so I am SOOO excited!

We'll likely be going to get my NEW Digital REBEL tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!

YEEEEEEEE haw! I can't WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Hair Day

Okay so I went and had my hair hacked off today! I just couldn't stand it any longer! When my hair gets too long (it was approx 4-5 inches below my shoulders I guess) it starts really falling out and looks thing, but still shiny and soft and healthy otherwise LOL! This started happening once I started making babies and hasn't stopped, even in that 3 year break between having Elisa and then getting pregnant with Brenna, so whatever. Anyhow, I'd finally had enough and oculnd't stand it anymore so I marched to the hairdo place and just said "okay I gotta get my hair hacked, but I need a minute to look at some pictures". So I sat down and took about 15 mins or so and just finally settled on a few pics I liked. I had thought about having my hair cut short around my face and then "stacked" in the back, but didnt' think it could be done with my hair because it's not "super" thick you know. Well I asked her, showed her a pic of what I was talking about plus the other ones and asked her what she thought. She said "There is no reason why we can't stack your hair if that is what you would prefer". So we went with it...
here is the end result - what do you think??????? I love it and think I just might keep this one around for awhile even....

Well we are back from IL, and to be honest, we've been home for a week now LOL! So shoot me, I've been enjoying my time as a mommy of ONE!!! thats right - A and E stayed with Grandma & Grandpa and B came home with daddy and I. B and I have been enjoying the time bonding together while daddy is at work. She can shop just like her mommy (okay so really we've done more "window" shopping than anything, but at least we are getting out of the house just a bit, and she LOVES having me all to herself. I don't know HOW she will react Wed. with her big brother and sister come home. That should be interesting.

Well my BIG reason for posting is to share just a few photos I took on the day of the wedding. While we were waiting around for the kids "turns" with the photographer (A was a ring bearer, E was a flower girl and B was, well I guess a junior flower girl, though she didn't walk down the aisle, daddy (an usher) walked her down and sat her with me in the pew), I snapped some shots of my own with me SOON TO BE RETIRED Konica Minolta DiMage Z2 (man I can't WAIT for that tax refund to come in so I can by my new digi Rebel!!!)...anyhow - here are a few of my favorites!!!

We leave in just a few hours for IL. We'll be visiting family, friends and being a part of Amys wedding day (Chads sister). I'll be sure to share photos when we return. The kids are in the wedding as well so I'm sure that will make for some GREAT photos...what a bummer that I haven't been able to go pick up my new digi camera yet......

I'm just flitting around the house tying up all those proverbial loose ends before we leave!

Guess we'll find out how much (or little) Brenna will enjoy flying!!! I'll keep you posted!

I'm so excited...I can't WAIT for the new Big Brother to start on CBS....

I am such a reality TV junkie and my all time FAVE has to be Big Brother...... Now to debate wether I can sell one of the kids on the black market so I can buy into the "life feeds" again this year...hmmmm
